Let me preface this review by saying that, in general, realtors are not my favorite people. But, Jennifer Gainey is truly the exception. She came highly recommended by my sister and brother-in-law who own multiple properties and have used her services extensively.
Specifically, Jennifer helped us to sell our townhouse in Santa Monica. At the time, we had been living out of State for over five years, and the unit was being rented at a significant loss. Even so, we couldn’t afford to float the property unoccupied. When our tenants moved out my guidance to Jennifer was to sell the unit “as fast as possible.” At the same time, we were concerned that the property was underwater and we certainly didn’t want to owe anything to the bank.
Step one, Jennifer helped us to get the unit back in shape. We repainted, re-carpeted, made some minor repairs, had the unit thoroughly cleaned, and then staged it with high-end furnishings. Jennifer project managed the entire process in about a week and a half. She supervised multiple vendors at the same time and coordinated everything. She was also highly involved in the design process (paint & carpet color selections, furniture choices, etc.) since we couldn’t be there. The outcome? The unit looked gorgeous.
